A person who believes in the equality of sexes
Nobody understood the weight of being a female in the entertainment industry. Guys had struggles too but nowhere near what they need to go trough in order to plainly survive. For too many years she handled the abuse quietly - it was just a hand on her thigh, they were just playing with her hair, it wasn't much for making a fuss, right?
Actually, it is. It is a damn good reason for her to make a fuss and cut the crap of the important CEO of whatever kind of brand he was under, that never justified him to touch her body so freely and expect her to just play along. She isn't a damn toy, no other girls there are. So the moment she said, loud clear, Can please stop touching my ass because it's making me uncomfortable, eyes roamed over her, judging her. And also the comments 'so rude!', 'she isn't ladylike at all!', 'how can she say something like that to her oppa?', 'how lack of respect with someone older than her.'
'Oppa? Oppa my ass', she thought before being dragged by force to the bathroom by one of her managers. He was trying to give her a manners lesson? So she could just stay there and allow the older man to simply touch her freely like she was a goddamn object?
“I don’t give a fuck," she started, not having any sort of patience for this conversation." Lecture me all you want, you know what he was doing isn’t right. I stood up for myself, for once. I already had to handle a lot of crap during my teenage days where I couldn't say a thing to not 'hurt my image'. But I'm not fifteen anymore and I'm not scared of the consequences either. You know what? You should be ashamed of yourself. If you wanted a brand with a CEO like that to support Lipstick, then you're as twisted in the head then I thought."
The manager just stood there, lips together in a thin line, anger visibly bowling on his body. Malee just snorted, grabbing her purse from his hands and shaking her head."- I'm leaving first, it's not that far for a walk."
When he left, the door from the bathroom opened up, revealing Bobo. She probably wanted to leave before but the argument between Malee and her manager didn’t allow her to.”I’m sorry,” it was all Malee could say,” You didn’t have to hear what just happened. It’s unfair to you... listen to such argument like that.”
