@fmdleo!
duri would often, at times, find himself in the living space on his own. he liked to sometimes just sit and watch a television show or movie whenever the right time called for it. tonight happened to just be one of those times where he wasn’t ready to go straight to bed, so he found himself within the living area, going through the channels to see if anything was on. after minutes of going back and forth between options, he settled on a movie that didn’t seem to be too bad. he positioned himself across the couch, eyes watching the movie move across the screen. he was at his most comfortable, which would explain why his eyes would begin to feel heavy as he watched; another thing that he would do often, aka fall asleep on the couch. soon enough, he’d slip into a slumber.
who knew how long he’d been asleep on the couch, the television still playing in the background of his slumber. it seemed like normal sleeping, nothing to be too worried about. but, that was spoken too soon for as images flashed in his mind; he was having the nightmare that he would constantly have, the one of the accident when he was five; always following in the same way, but it was never the same, it was always different. which was why duri could never fully remember what happened that day. he’d begin sweating, he’d wince, squeezing his eyes, and making noises that would signify that something was obviously wrong as he slept.
