We got to tour a gold mine today in Val D'Or. In addition to being out fitted in snazzy mining outfits with light up hats, we got to go 300 feet below ground and learn more about gold mining. After stopping for lunch down there, our awesome tour guide showed us FME types around some of the other things on the site. Adrien said I would be the guy in that poster drilling and smoking 😂 and the mannequin made me laugh. We also got to engage in feats of strength by trying to lift a model gold bar (weight 22kg.) Then there was a Lynchian man with a TV with a head who told us more about the mine. We saw mineral samples, and toured a heritage home in the town.
