The Supreme Court upheld access to mifepristone (an abortion drug) through mail and telehealth!!!

The laws on abortion are more specific and finicky than you'd think sometimes- if you're a usamerican in a red state, CHECK your state's laws thoroughly for legality. For example, in Texas, the pregnant person is rarely at risk for inducing/having an abortion. Trigger laws crack down on the would-be providers in state of an abortion- but not often the person having an abortion. This is why mail-order mifepristone is so important.

Aidaccess provides mifepristone to those in all fifty states and it continues to provide this service. The cost is 150, and financial aid/programs exist to aid those who cannot afford that. To those afraid, know that abortion laws focus so much on fear mongering- of both patient and provider- that it can get unclear what's actually criminalized. Please do very careful research, and keep this option in mind.

Fighting and fear isn't over but neither are our options and hope!!

Went down a rabbit hole that I haven't in a while and am once again astounded by the viewpoints of TERFs/radfems. I don't post abt it a lot here but feminism/gender politics is of deep, deep importance to me and it's a large part of my life. That being said: the concept of presuming to care about feminism deeply and deciding that one of the largest facets of oppression, at least enough to focus on it so much, comes from trans women is genuinely fucking baffling.

This is, of course, personal experience, but I've yet to see transwomen be entirely accepted in full capacity in any circles, much less enough to start being selectively powerful enough to oppress.
