“i’m finally debuting ... isn’t that weird?”
just a year ago, minho felt like his world was crumbling right in front of him. his debut was once again uncertain, and he was feeling like the past years spent as a trainee were a waste of time; time that he could've used to capitalize on his career as a child actor. he had a hard time coping with the idea that the reason they couldn't debut was his fault, even if it wasn't, and dealt with it in ways that were less than favorable. not to mention the survivor's guilt that followed immediately, he truly was in no shape to debut and it took him nearly a year since what happened to realize that. he realized he would probably never be able to debut with elite until he cleaned up his act, which is exactly what he did starting earlier this year, a month before the year anniversary.
laying down with his head on her lap, eva being like his second older sister as she and minseo spent so much time together ( they were inseparable, minho admired this ), he is smiling genuinely at the thought of his dream coming true. "just a few more days. i can actually count the days on my fingers !" he's grinning wider, almost laughing in disbelief. it was happening ! for once in his life, his excitement outweighed his worries. he was anxious a month ago, but now he can't help but want to cry with happiness. a moment like this is something he never imagined himself happening as his disappointment piled up over the years, his younger self watching people he trained with either debut before him or leave the company. this was a surreal moment. "do you ... think she's proud?"
