YAYA....ive already started cooking up stuff abt how benrey works as a animatronic...

basing it off how the security puppet and its corresponding minigame function, benrey is a front desk-esque guard at the location (name probably never to be known because i have no clue what id name it anyways. not gonna just go with y2kvr name based stuff hsdkgd) that responds to colored "necklaces" (the ones he gave gordon in canon) except the major change here is that he actually denied it, being given a choice to recieve it or not. benrey doesnt push for it immediately, but you can tell hes upset.

no letters here either, just gordon working nightshift and getting along w the other animatronics. theyre not immediately trying to kill him which is good! theyre also not possesed by any spirits which is also good (although im debating having benrey be possesed by someone to kinda b the equivalent of the program being shut off for 2 years. yknow. vengeful spirit wink wink)

benreys way of 'love-coring' someone is actually through the necklace. he found a way to hijack the signal that goes through to him and almost flip it? he sends out a signal, signal gets sent to animatronic, animatronic works for him. which would make it difficult to explain for gordon bc he does get lovecored a few times in canon....WAIT NO I FIGURED IT OUT

OK OK. SO THE SOUND DISKS. THE ONES FROM THE BOOKS. EACH NECKLACE HAS SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THEM, AND BENREY RECEIVES THE SIGNAL THRU THE NECKLACE. GORDON ACTUALLY DOES TAKE IT, WEARING IT AROUND, AND OCCASIONALLY, BENREY WILL EMIT A SIGNAL THAT WILL DISRUPT GORDON THINKING, GIVIN HIM SOMETHING SIMILAR TO A 'LOVECORE' EFFECT. BAM SOLUTION
