I actually got almost all of Mangle’s skeleton done in a night! I used @fnafbot ‘s foxy template with a few tweaks (ovular eyeholes, one cheek-fluff peak instead of two, and a handle so it can be a mounted or used as a hand-held puppet as well!).
I made it out of the sheet plastic I use to make fursuit eyes (I hardly use black so I have a ton of extra, and it looks great for this too!) so it’d be more durable than the suggested foamcore. I was worried it’d be too thin but I just cut all the holes for the tabs smaller & reinforced everything with hotglue once it was assembled & it’s super sturdy & still lightweight! The plastic is also great because you don’t have to worry about it getting damaged if it’s bent, so WAY easier to deal with, cut out, & put together.
It also needs it's ear & jaw attachments, which will be on a spring for extra non-mechanical movement!
The eye mechanics are just held together with dowels for right now until I get brads tomorrow. I also have capsules for eyes & eyelids in the mail now! I wanna check out local hobby shops for servos as soon as I have a bit of extra cash, too!
