They had no idea what just happened. Just a minute ago, the boys were getting the grill ready for their pre game burgers. Braxton hadn't grabbed the lighter yet, but somehow the coals caught fire.
They were setting the table, getting the buns out when they heard an explosion, then a scream. They turned around and were greeted with a horrific sight. The grill was now on fire, the flames shooting up to the sky. Braxton was rolling on the ground, trying to put out the fire that had jumped onto him.
"Oh god oh god oh god!!!" Braxton kept screaming. The fire spread from his clothes to his bare arms. Ace ran to get the fire extinguisher while the others kept screaming.
"What the fuck?! Wh- How did that- How-" Esmund couldn't wrap his head around what just happened. He just stared at the tall, fiery inferno that was their team captain.
When Ace got the extinguisher and sprayed him, they couldn't ignore the damage on his body. His skin was covered in burns and blisters. His clothes had been turned to ash, exposing more burns on his body. Horace covered his mouth.
"So.... n-no burgers?" Braxton asked, wincing.
The others just stared at him.
"I think we lost our appetite." Jackson said.
