No time to b sad when you’re high all the time
i like to walk the streets at night, fingers trailing the clipped hedges. the sky crowded with cypresses, a spray of alder leaves. last crease of pink. lights dropping from the windows one by one. in the park boys on skateboards cut wide arcs, laugh with open mouths. i walk under the bridge with the smooth concrete walls. i always hear rats but never see any.
