Sympathies :/ Same here. At least living with someone else who is about as bendy as I am has its benefits. Even if that's still a small pool of people who actually get that and so many other things, like the hazards of sleeping on things wrong and "yes my hip just dislocated AGAIN". But yeah, I went most of my life assuming that either I was just whining excessively about what the knees kept doing, or it must really be early osteoarthritis like they kept assuming with no testing after the ACL surgeries. Even with the HMS dx, nobody put together that they really weren't staying in joint too well, or checked to see if they even were at the time. I wouldn't expect them to believe me about any of it now that I do have a better idea why they're being terrible. Sorry you've run into too much of that kind of thing too.
