RESEARCH TO DESIGN WORKSHOP . In this workshop Creative Director @wr.designs_ and Workshop Assistant and Illustrator, @rsrillustration gave participants the chance to explain what they had been working on during the week within their research and how this has impacted their practice. The key element of this workshop was to understand that participants must now use the research they have produced to create initial ideas for their own designs/artworks. . Using their own research as inspiration and the information in the morning lecture, participants were asked to begin to generate ideas for designs/artworks which they may want to create as a final outcome for the project. Participants were asked to make use of the design methods they had been presented with throughout the week to begin generating their own work. Some questions explored within the workshop included: . 🎨Identify what it is you wish to design or create? 🎨Will it be an Artwork, photoshoot, make up, textile piece, garment, etc.? 🎨What are you trying to represent within your work? 🎨what do you want it to say and mean to your audience? 🎨What will you use to create this piece? 🎨What does your work say about Brent or our personalty identity/family history? . #brent2020 #brent #fashioningourhistory #fohbrent #mylocalculture #culture #arts #london #community #fashion (at London Borough of Brent) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLtvVheAyij/?igshid=fgw0seqth81j
