I love that this episode has (shippy) Sibling devotion hero lore. Fohl and Atla see this strange man who is some way connected. Atla says how similiar he felt to her brother. Of course its the hero that for everything he ever did it was for the sake of his beloved sister. The fact Fohl is considered much like him makes me love the ship even more.

And thats the end of the White Tiger Siblings episode. I love it a lot and have to read about them in the light novels now!

SIbling Spotlight Fohl and Atla Fayon

I haven't done one of these in a while but basically its where i focus on a set of siblings in anime I really like who have great chemistry with familial and potential romance love, shippyness

From season 3 episode 3 of "The Rising of the Shield Hero" anime, it's titled "White Tiger Siblings" and when there are siblings in the title you know its gonna be a good one! These two are absolutely adorable.

Fohl and Atla have been kept captive as slaves, his sister Atla is gravely ill, and Fohl gets into these underground fights in order to earn money to pay for her medical needs. They both are saved and freed by the Shield Hero, and show their devotion right away. The sister assumes only her brother will be rescued for his value and strength but still smiles and asks that her brother is cared for. While Fohl passes the devotion test from Naofumi, asking him if he would be willing to spend the rest of his life paying back for the medication. Of course he passes with flying colors agreeing in a heartbeat. They both are so devoted and sweet together. And finally can be free and happier being saved.
