This Foil Pack Orange Molasses Salmon recipe combines the tanginess of orange juice with the sweetness of molasses to create a flavorful glaze for salmon. Cooking the salmon in foil packets helps seal in moisture and flavor, resulting in tender and juicy fish.
Ingredients: 4 salmon fillets. 1/4 cup orange juice. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons molasses. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger. Salt and pepper, to taste. Sliced green onions, for garnish. Orange slices, for garnish.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Ginger, garlic, orange juice, and soy sauce should all be mixed together in a small bowl. Put a different piece of aluminum foil under each salmon fillet. Add salt and pepper to the salmon. Spread the orange molasses mixture out on top of each fillet. To make a sealed packet, fold the foil's edges together. Cover the salmon with foil and put it on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked. Before you serve, carefully open the foil packets and top with orange and green onion slices.
