As someone that jokes around on a daily basis, her close friends might not take her and her words seriously. This time round, she was serious when she said she will get her friend a kitten. The older of the pair might not be expecting this so soon, but this is how surprises work. She had texted Jiwon that she would drop by for dinner, when in fact, she adopted two small kitten already for her. As much as she wanted the dinner, her real motive for going over to her apartment was to hand over the precious fluffballs that she got.
The moment she reached her place, she wasted no time to give the main door a few knocks, while her other arm was tightly wrapped around the card-box where she placed the kittens. “Hyuuung, open up. It’s me. I came over with a present that is my bright smile earlier than expected!”
To be honest, Jiwon was feeling pretty blue that day and she wasn’t expecting any guest – not even her manager nor her boyfriend since she wouldn’t want to burst out her anger towards anyone who wasn’t supposed to be receiving it. She got home earlier than she usually did from her studio since she couldn’t calm down her thoughts even when work was usually the way to let things off her mind for awhile. She did complained towards the younger about her frustration earlier but she didn’t expect her to come over right way. What is she even doing here? The brunette would label her as crazy but it was a good crazy this time since she came at the perfect time. Opening the door for her, she flashed her a quick smile before stepping away slightly to give space for her to come inside.
When her gaze felt down on the box her close friend was holding, the pessimistic side of her vanished almost instantly as a toothy grin replaced the furrowing brows on her pale face. Honestly, she wanted to reach out and stole the box from the other but she stopped herself although a loud cooed then left her pink lips. “Choi Yuna– I swear to god. Let me hold them just incase you’re planning to take them away from me.”
