SOME FOLIA HEADCANONS — as resquested by miss javi
I think they´ll be a little awkward at first. They were each other’s crush for a while so it might take them a bit to overcome that phase, also as both of them had bad past experiences so they’re probably going cautious and scared of ruining everything. I imagine them on their first dates being all shy and blushing every time their hands touch, like love-struck teenagers, but after they get to know better and let their insecurities behind they’ll be the loveliest pair.
They´re so whipped, everyone knows at this point, no need of saying, it’s EVIDENT. Like Cali can be talking about something whereas Olivia it’s just staring at her with sparkling eyes and a soft smile, giggling from time to time because she can’t handle how cute she is. Or Cali laughing at her dad jokes even if they aren’t funny at all, she’s laughing because Olivia is laughing, I bet monochrome and eye candy can be reunited one day and Olivia says a bad joke and everybody it’s judging her while Cali it’s bursting in laughter as if she was in a stand-up comedy show. Like that’s some real love there folks.
PICNIC DATES. YES. P I C N I C D A T E S. It can be in Eye candy’s house ( Monochrome doesn’t have a backyard rip ) or they look for some parks that are private to avoid annoying paparazzi’s. They can spend the whole day just talking, eating, kissing. Cali can suggest drawing her, but gave up at the end since Olivia shyness can’t make her stay still.
Olivia has a huge box packed with polaroids of her. Her original plan was to decorate her room’s wall with them, but she preferred to keep them for herself as precious memories.
Since both of them have busy schedules they can’t met in person as often as they’d want. They maintain contact messaging, or facetiming on their free periods. Whenever you see them they’re on their phone talking to each other all smiley.
“Saw this and remind me of you” — probably them every single time they see something the other likes.
One time Olivia tried to give Cali driving lessons. Emphasis on one time. It was a disaster, Cali almost runs over an old lady passing by and for the sake of her not ending in jail they leaved it there. She doesn’t even let her get near the steering wheel since.
They promised to go visit California. together, and Olivia´s favorite places in China ( she´d like to show her Oxford but she can´t for the whole not coming out to her homophobic parent’s situation ).
3am calls when they can’t sleep, and talking for hours until the sun rises or one of them falls asleep.
Olivia loves to send her romantic book quotes every morning.
They´re that cheesy couple that wears each other clothes, or have matching jewelry. Highlights and Bulls perhaps noticed already and they constantly make jokes of “Olivia and Cali are dating” without knowing that they are actually dating.
Folia are just the sweetest girfriends who treasure their relationship so much and are trying their best to make the other happy.
