248 Bi-coloured Zincite crystals from Poland
weight 3.8g/19cts & dimensions 21x16x8mm
Zincite is a rare deep red or orange-yellow mineral consisting chiefly of zinc oxide, occurring typically as granular or foliated masses.
I’d probably call that a foliated metamorphic rock, not granite (could be flow banding but that scale seems unlikely) - but in the industry we’ve been told that any coarse grained igneous rock gets called granite. Anyway, beautiful rock slab on its way to someone’s countertop.
