How the Bachelorettes Take Care of You
Thank you again @aesthetic-lillie, for this request! Here are all of the FoMT and AWL bachelorettes taking care of you. I tried to include both small at-home care and in the case of hospital procedures/surgery. I hope you enjoy, and I'll have the bachelors done later!
ANN / RAN
Ann makes certain your home is spotless and cooks you delicious food. So long as you can keep things down, she’ll make you anything you want. She sings as she works, both to help soothe you and for herself. Despite forcing herself to work through colds or tummy aches, Ann is very quick to lecture you on taking breaks and using medicine when you need it rather than waiting until it gets worse.
She’s a bit apprehensive about your surgery, though you’d never guess from her upbeat positivity. Out of sight from you, Ann has very deep talks with her father about whether she could brave the hospital to support you. The thought of the hospital scares her, but she’d hate you to be alone. Ann never tells you until you’re fully recovered and quickly brushes it aside to do something fun with you.
CELIA / CECILIA
For colds and standard illnesses, Cecilia isn’t constantly at your side. She would love to be, but the farms won’t run themselves. Ceci assures you she can handle caring for your farm with Takakura and her duties at Vesta’s and insists you rest to recover. She somehow finds the time, despite all the work and checking on you, to cook nutritious meals filled with fresh ingredients that help you feel better.
Cecilia hates hospitals and clinics. She spent far too much time in them before moving live with Vesta. She shoves down her fears and dislikes to support you in the surgery you need. If the appointment requires travel to the city, she’ll consult with Marlin about where to stay and directions to take the stress off of you. She organizes Takakura, Marlin, and Vesta to handle the farms so she can be on and to assist you when dismissed from the hospital.
ELLI / ELLY
As a nurse, Elli is perfectly suited for either long-term or short-term care. She has a tendency to remain professional out of habit and tells you everything she’s doing before doing it. She is very strict about you taking medicine on time and in the right amount. If you have dietary restrictions as part of treatment, Elli refuses to allow any cheating and confiscates contraband for after recovery.
When it comes to surgical procedures, Elli is with you every step of the way. Her kind smile is the first thing you see when waking from surgery. Elli is very thorough in her questions for the doctor and takes meticulous notes for you to review later. She can be strict about making certain you are up and moving appropriately during the recovery process.
FLORA
Flora will try to cook for you, despite the food always being slightly off in taste. She always seems to be well stocked on energy, power, and hyper drinks. Flora mentions needing them for if Carter or she are sick to prevent delaying work. She, of course, doesn't mind depleting their stockpile to help you feel better. Flora suggests keeping a stockpile of your own going forward.
She doesn't seem too different with surgical procedures at a glance. Flora is at your side to help with whatever you need beforehand and after. She truly shines with the heavy lifting around the farm while you are under restrictions. Flora will greatly reduce, if not completely pause, her work at the mines to assist you during this time.
KAREN
She is a perfect blend of her parents. Calm and straightforward, but makes certain you see the doctor to rule out anything serious. Karen tries to cook you healthy dishes that look suspicious. She looks only slightly down when you mention saving it for later.
When it comes to surgery, Karen takes a bit more after her father and is nervous about you having anything done. She trusts the doctor but worries about the risks involved. Despite her worries, Karen is at your side and tries to be the best support you need. Whether it's a sympathetic shoulder, an attack dog making sure your voice is heard, or anything in between.
LUMINA
When Lumina hears you're sick, she immediately sends Dr. Hardy for a house visit. While he looks you over, Lumina recruits Sebastian's help to make you something nice to eat. You can see Romana and Sebastian hovering at the edge of the farm when Lumina delivers the food and checks on you. Lumina insists on paying for Dr. Hardy's visit and any medicines he prescribes. What good is all the family money if it can't be used to care for loved ones?
In the case of surgery, Lumina with Romana demands nothing but the absolute best physician. She won't hear of you staying at the farmhouse afterward, and moves you into a room at the manor instead. You're given a bell to ring if you need anything, and Lumina hovers at your bedside, helping with anything she can, even if it's just fluffing your pillows.
MARY / MARIE
Mary knows almost every herbal remedy there is and makes them for you to help you feel better. She also gives you a blend to brew for tea to help bolster your immune system. While you’re sick, she’ll read to you or talk to you about the book she’s writing. Mary blushes, but loves it when you have questions or mention liking a plot point.
If you need surgery, Mary switches from reading books to medical journals and research on the procedure. She wants to make certain you know all of the options for treatment before anything intrusive. Mary helps you come up with a list of questions for your doctor and takes detailed notes post-procedure to pass along to you. Once home, Mary spends her time cross-referencing a drug interactions book to ensure nothing is counteracting your medicine.
MUFFY / MOLLY
Once Muffy is done fussing over you, she demands that you hydrate. She works at the bar and knows people don't always stay well hydrated. She does her best to follow directions to make meals or bring food from the Bluebird Cafe for you to eat.
Her time in the city as a social butterfly earns you some perks in the hospital during your stay for surgery. Muffy's friends give you extra helpings of food you like and ensure you have a private room during your stay. Back at home, Muffy tries to help Takakura with the animals' care, mainly spreading feed for the chickens and playing with your dog. She keeps you up to date on what happens around town.
NAMI
You don't really see the redhead while you're sick, but Takakura delivers medicine she dropped off and mentions Nami watered the crops while he was gone. She brushes off your thanks and claims she was just curious about the farm when you try to thank her. Nami blushes when you ask about the medicine and says she just had an extra.
Nami doesn't remain aloof for long upon hearing you'll need surgery. She asks some questions and offers to help you with travel and recovery. The redhead hovers at your side, sharply listening to doctors and nurses and advocating for you as needed. Once you can return home and have some restrictions lifted, Nami relaxes again.
POPURI
Despite being in touch with her inner child, Popuri is an expert in caring for others. She’s grown up assisting in the care of her mother and is adept at monitoring fevers, administering medicine, and has mastered simple but filling recipes. Popuri will read her favorite stories to you at the bedside to help you sleep or stay entertained in bed.
In the case of surgery, Popuri is a nervous wreck. She worries over the worst scenarios and hovers around you throughout the recovery process to closely monitor you for complications. Popuri stresses about you overdoing things and pushing yourself, and encourages you to let her wait on you.
