the thing is you’re uh. perfectly fine on here. tumblr does not hate dfab trans people. if anything, they have preferential treatment here just like they do in the real world. most popular trans resource posts focus on binding and looking more masculine. most nonbinary posts are geared towards afab nb people. afab people have a huge presence here and regularly talk over trans women.and yeah ok, sometimes people get angry about this and make a post like “god i hate afab ppl” but if you’re a frustrated trans woman, that is completely justifiable?? the fact that trans men cannot handle this is just an example of male entitlement

I want to respond to your response on that trans men post. I know people on this website like to think that the moment you identify as a man, you get male privilege but as a trans man speaking, you DONT. You still get cat called, you get misgendered, called all sorts of slurs, harassed, sexually assaulted... And what happens? We log onto this website and literally see "I hope all trans men kill themselves.. Why do they want to be men"

yes, you are affected by misdirected misogyny. you are affected by transphobia. i know. as a afab transmasculine person i experience the exact same shit. that doesn’t change the fact that you are male and have certain privileges that come with being male.i know that for young and ignorant trans men on this website, it’s hard to not be accepted in the real world and then come here and feel like you’re not accepted here either. but you need to own up and realize that as an afab trans person you have a lot more trans friendly resources on your side than everyone else, even here on this website where you think everyone hates you, and as a man people are much more likely to listen to you and take you seriously.

and i dont know what “i want trans men to all die” posts you’re talking about. trans men face a lot of criticism on here yeah, but it is mostly from trans women and completely justified…so.
