Santa Teresa is a relaxed place that's essentially a long (beautiful) jungle beach running parallel to a bumpy dirt road. This road is tough to navigate; in fact, most only do so riding an ATV because there are that many potholes. So although you wouldn't guess it at first glance, I'm here to tell you...there are SO many fine restaurants serving the freshest and well, most divine meals! Often the setting is beautifully designed and plates carefully presented as well. (I had no idea what to expect for food but it wasn't this! ) Both expats and locals run these restaurants (this one by an Argentinian,) and on a somewhat remote peninsula of Costa Rica, I am not exaggerating when I say I had some of the best meals of my life. From sushi to gallo pinto to croissants and beyond, these spots could hold their own in SF or any major food city. Costa Rica...who knew?! #costarican #fooddestinations #puravidalife #parttimetraveler #hereforthefood (at Santa Teresa, Costa Rica)
