Percy sighed, half reading the document in front of him, but not really taking any of it it. It wasn’t anything important, still something that he needed to read for work, though likely he would sign it anyway. It wouldn’t have even got this far if he didn’t know about it before. Even if he pretended otherwise. But accidents always happened, and he managed to knock his coffee over and onto the documents, himself, and seemingly close to the person nearby. “Goodness, my apologies. I didn’t get you did I?”

“My apologies, could you possibly say that again but a lot slower?” he asked, of course he understood it completely, he was simply going to pretend otherwise. It was normal for him, it worked better. Besides, it gave him more of a chance to think of something ridiculous to answer with, and that always had to be the goal. “Something about weather?”
