I started in 1998 (or around that time) on AOL, in chatroom rp. I made the LOVELY mistake of always changing little pieces of my character to seem to match/be of interest to the characters I roleplayed with. ALSO, I had no idea about keeping IC/OOC seperate. IE: I got mad at a character, my character was mad at that character...It is a time I am willfully ignoring and glad, so much, it's wayway behind me.

I've disrespected blocks before. Been RPing for years and it's happened just a few times where partners started ignoring me then blocked & I had no idea why. So I reached out on another account, sometimes spamming until they explained themselves. It was always because they'd lost muse and had been waiting for me to take their silence as a hint. I reacted terribly to being told this, messaging more, obsessively going on there blog, other bad stuff - you have to respect blocks even if it hurts.

when it comes to bad behaviours I used to have such Mary Sue ocs and whenever anyone said anything bad I used to throw temper tantrums lol but now I've definitely learned and I accept constructive criticism and don't make Mary Sue's (anon hate with me is never cool tho)

Bad behaviour anon: sent anon hate once, without really noticing. Now, befoe anyone start hating on me, I was young and meant to send it for the character, but i don't think the person took it that way. I feel bad for it until now. (It's been 5 years now)

I've lied about my needs. I have accepted new plots from people who are much slower than I want to be, and put up with being really unsatisfied with things just because I don't want to say no to someone I like writing with. I've ended up resenting people because our stuff is so slow I lose all interest but I seethe silently and accept new plots instead of saying "I'd rather not, because I really miss this thread you say you still want but haven't replied to in months".

ok but we all did! personally i was once obsessed with a rper, and just tagged them in half of my posts and such. i later understood, but never apologized bc they blocked me at that point! also at another time i did steal headcanons from a person, even if it wasn't for the same character (like she played muse a, and did an npc for them, muse b. i did muse b without warning them or whatever) but as of the second person we are now even friends! we all fuck up, have our ups and downs so <3

I remember I was part of a pokemon RPG where the admins determined how battles go and changed the battle system. I didn't agree with how a battle went because of how they made me lose, and after arguing with the admin responsible for that, I deleted my account in that and another RPG i was in with them. I found them again in another group and apologized, owning up to my mistakes. We haven't RPed, since, but I guess I learned how to apologize.

For the bad behavior anon: I used to respond to all the anon hate I got, and it just bred more drama all the time. I felt entitled to respond, but ultimately it did no one any favors, and it definitely made my dash unpleasant. And I got a lot. These days, I block it all instead of fuelling the drama, and I hardly get any. And if I do, I block it without a word. I don't make it worth anyone's while.
