Lost in the Concrete Jungle || Open
Cameron had just finished a brief lunch when the idea came to him. It was his first day off all week, and so far he'd spent it lounging in his pyjamas. He roused himself, threw on shorts and a t-shirt, grabbed his wallet and keys, and headed out the door. How could he stay inside, when the idea of exploring the one part of town that he had never tried to navigate. He locked the door of his house, then set of toward Piteous City.
Cameron had been to the pit before, but never beyond the route to Noah's house. He hadn't even visited any of his other acquaintances who made their home there. He navigated a beeline to the where the city truly began, then just picked a direction and went for it. It was about an hour later that he looked around and saw not one familiar land mark. To make things worse, there was also not a single person around. Cameron had managed to lose his bearings entirely, and could not find his way back to save his life. Given the disposition of many of the city's occupants, if he stayed out until after dark his situation could very well be that precarious. "Hello?!" He called, hoping that someone would be around to hear him. "Anyone?! I could use some directions!"
