I mean...yeah? I'm in the middle of writing an entire fic for him so, yeah, I think I like him.

I just don't like how SM handled him.

She goes and makes the guy ashamed of his actions in the Mexican Vampire wars but proud of his history as a confederate (and I feel that an empath should have learned to be better after gaining his abilities, having him literally FEEL the repercussions of his actions and the feeling of those he never considered important would have been interesting). He has some great moments in the Saga but, as she often does with her characters, lore, and things, does very little with him and allows for no real growth and interest.

Jacob smiles back at his soulmate as they walked down the street after Jacob finished up at the studio with Daniel. "I promised you a week in bed so our second date..." He says waving to the shop with a wink before kissing his cheek "Don't worry we will go eat after, I promise. I want to treat my man right."

The crack of the low brush of the forest resonated deep into the soundless moonlit night. The beasts snarled and beat their leathery wings as they darted after the woman, toying with their prey. They’d corner her, allow her to escape, then repeat the process. They could do this for eternity and perhaps never return to their master. Arcane just wanted this endless cat and mouse game to be done. She had been through the same song and dancing for nearly a hundred years..Unless it had been longer. Regardless she wanted to pass and be done with it. One beast swooped low and grabbed her, talons sinking into her clothes, drawing blood before dropping her and letting out a screech like laugh.

Making Up

To say Jacob was still hurting would he an understatement but he was being honest with Jasper when he said he forgave him. He was glad Atti got through to him because his text sent him hope that maybe they could work this out. Still as Jacob made his way to his soulmate's front door he couldn't help but feel scared. Scared and nervous. Taking a deep breath he buried his emotions before knocking on the door.

And for the character Jasper (im reading a fic about him rn and im obsessing)

Shades of blue (I've always associated him with blue, maybe it's his favorite color in my mind???), foggy grays with flashes of silver, and the deepest, darkest shades of red.

On the way to Priam's

Jacob and Aidan didn't want to do this, they didn't want to send their lover away but they knew that it would be for the best if he was out of harm's way so they could be on top of their game. Jacob held one of Jasper's hands tightly in his own while Aidan held the other. They were already running behind, Joel having messaged him to say they were getting ready to leave. They stopped in front of the shop doors and Jacob turned to Jasper.

"Jazzy, my swan, I know you don't want to do this and you're angry at us for making you go but neither of us can lose you." He says as he caresses his cheek "I love you so much, Jazzy, and I would rather die than see you hurt." He says as he leans in for a kiss, a tear rolling down his cheek "I'm going to miss you so much, my swan, be strong for me. For us."

Aidan had been silent most of the walk to the book store, dreading what was to come but knowing that sending his mate away was for the best. He turned Jasper to look at him when Jacob was done, cupping his cheek.

"I love you, Jazz, remember that ok? I know you're angry, you don't want to be left behind, but like Jacob said we can't lose you." He says as he leans in for a kiss "When this is all over, when we come back to you, I'm going to mark you both. I'm doing to keep you both with me always. Don't worry too much ok? Be strong and I promise this will be over soon and you'll be back with us before you realize." He says resting his forehead against Jasper's as his own tears rolled down his cheeks "I'm going to miss you m, babe, so much."

Affection

Jasper: Hugs. Hugs so tight that you gradually feel warmer by the force of friction. Being enveloped in her big, muscular form. Drowning in her hair. Letting her squeeze me and bend my stick-like body in her crevices. Nuzzling each other. Leaning on her chest. Her chin on my hair. Nose to the gem. Visor off so we can see into each other’s eyes, yellow and green.

Garnet: Holding hands. Fingers stroking her gems, both from limb enhancers or my own hard-light form, tracing the facets, the edges, and all around. Tracing her fingers. Intertwining hers with mine, magenta against chartreuse. Fingers curling around her wrist. Tracing Ruby and Sapphire’s wedding rings. Her cupping the ends of my arm enhancers and resting her face on them.

The Fedoration: Kisses. A lot of kisses. We greet with a peck on the lips. Maybe he likes kissing because of his upbringing, but all I know is his lips are warm and wet and made of flesh and that’s nice. Blood in his veins makes him vibrant, pulsing with energy. Sometimes we just press our cheeks together. Or lips to cheek. His favorite is still my lips. But he kisses my nose sometimes. I’d kiss his. I love kissing his scars, and his closed eyes, and his wrists. He loves kissing my gems, my hands, my neck, my chest.
