Lars-Gunnar Bodin - For Jon (Fragments of a Time to Come) 1977 - Dusty Groove got a small CD run of this experimental electronic/voice LP produced for sale

A fantastic blend of electronics and voices from Swedish composer Lars Gunnar Bodin – and a record that's right up there with our favorite experiments of the type from the better-known Luciano Berio! Bodin keeps things spare and spooky at most moments – and uses themes from science fiction narratives that really fit the music – which often has these bold analogue elements that feel like the kind of noise you might be able to hear in space – wrapped around vocal moments that are often processed, so that they have a similarly electric vibe! Titles include "Soon She Would", "Something", "Soprano Solo 2", "Manual For Interdimensional Travel", and "The Room Was Described".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
