Hi! So I would like to pass on some stuff for Tail Anon. They are v valid in their worries, but I hope some of this stuff might reassure them a little bit??

So yes there are going to be 3 new characters, but the implication seems to be they will eventually be romance-able characters. They were announced with the message that obm wants to be "inclusive and enjoyable for all people regardless of gender or preference" and so the fem silhouette could v much be a character for m/nb/wlw folks.

Furthermore there would be a lot of backlash from players if MC was replaced, so they're unlikely to do that. (again you're feelings are valid!! Ik logic doesn't always work against anxiety but sometimes it might help).

And lastly I will say it doesn't make sense in canon. The characters deeply deeply love and adore you! I haven't quite finish s3 yet but ik at least Mammon has expressed willingness to marry you/mc, and it's very likely the rest feel the same! MC is irreplaceable to the brothers and dateables. Especially in the brothers case, you come in and you absolutely change their lives for the better. By the end of s3 there are years of history between you all (at least two, but depending on how you hc it could be much more). There is No Way any new character poses any significant threat to those relationships.

Ik replaced aus are very popular but they are very much AUs and require the brothers to act extremely ooc to work.

I agree with you, kind anon. AUs are just that and not canon. I usually try to stay true to canon unless someone asks me to break their heart. I know how much the boys love MC and I want to show others that as well 💙

okay so i'm back with more deets about the new possible female character. she's actually not a human, they said she's the reaper named thirteen(?). some claim that she's nonbinary. i'm still using she/her pronouns to refer to her because there are still no official announcements from obey me's official twitter acccount to support twt people's claims.

i did see some of the leaks for her, and i think her design's pretty cute, she gives off goth/rockstar gf vibes.

Ahhh, so she/her for now, but it could change later. Thirteen sounds cool. Maybe she is a badass that will win MC over with super cool reaper moves.

A Goth girlfriend is always a good aesthetic.

Ahhh! Thank you for clearing that up. So should we call them a "them" or a "she" you mentioned they are female, but was that for my reference and not their actual gender?... I just don't want to be rude..

Also I hope they are some cool race/species. A vampire??? Werewolf??? Ghost???

Tbh I seriously doubt they're going with a "Mc gets replaced route" anon your feelings are legitimate, but I doubt anyone could replace Mc, not after everything that's happened

Mc means alot to the characters, they wouldn't throw them aside just because of a new face

Mc mended their family, IS apart of their family, Diavolo seems to hold them in high regard, Simeon, Luke and Solomon all care about Mc and their well being, I seriously doubt any of them will throw Mc aside just because someone showed up

Very very true! They have now become a major part of their life and it is extremely difficult to just forget about that type of bond or move past it.
