All of this for it to mentally wreck the audience anyway is wild

❝ .... how am i supposed to know that i can trust you? ❞ her family’s reputation scared him, more than he wanted to admit. corruption, crimes, everything was a risk and a trigger for him. but especially for nari. ❝ you can’t expect me to just believe what you tell me. ❞

Puck woke with a groan, putting a hand to his head. It wasn’t the worst hangover he’d ever had, but it was enough to be disorienting. Pairing that with the unexpected feel of Sunil’s bed, with no sign of Sunil around, and not knowing where his shades or goggles were in relation to him. Good news, he knew he was home and could tell it was Sunil’s bed by scent and feel, so that was somewhat comforting. He could recall what happened at the hotel though things got fuzzy after he met back up with Sunil. Obviously they’d gotten home safely, and he vaguely remembered talking a lot....
He took a moment to breathe before rolling over to start feeling around for his goggles or shades, trying to be quiet about it. Eventually, he was able to find the clothes he’d worn last night and thankfully the shades were close by. He put them on and sighed in relief, then crawled back into the bed. “... I should probably get up....” Puck shook his head at himself and forced himself out of bed, hobbling out of the room to look for anyone else and get some water.

“Here. I feel like I should’ve done this years ago.” She handed him a box of his old stuff that had been sitting in the back of her closet for years.
Dire Circumstances || Jamie&Has
Under normal circumstances, telling Jamie that he had to spend time with him would have been a little enjoyable. He’d show up, bring Jamie’s favourites from the Indian place down the road and start making himself at home. Since the mirror though Has hadn’t dared force Jamie into doing anything, he’d been pushy, sure. The myriad of gift baskets, the texts that had short poems or quotes he found that Jamie would like, and the occasional walk by hadn’t exactly been ‘staying away’ but he hadn’t tried to just force Jamie to see him. Now he had to.
Exiting the convo with Kemper he opened up his texts to Jamie, the most recent one having been something perhaps to tug at Jamie’s more base self - the more buttons you undo, [he] said, the faster i become undone - and a contrast to what he had to send now.
[ TEXT ]: I need you to let me in. [ TEXT ]: My family is in town and I need to remove my magic from your house so they don’t track it and show up there. [ TEXT ]: I’m a minute away.
Selfishly he knew he could have given Jamie more warning, told him ‘you don’t have to be there’ but he wanted Jamie to be. If Maya was right and Jamie needed space then Hastalik definitely would not be seeing Jamie even out of the corner of his eye for a while, so this would be something to tide him over. Besides, he justified to himself, there was potentially some of his magic still on Jamie’s skin, buried in his pores from the things they did when they’d been alone.
Shoving his phone in the orange sling bag he wore over his chest, fabric rubbing against the buttons of his new shirt he started to close the distance to Jamie’s townhouse. The ‘open’ light still vibrant and visibly glowing in the window Has sped up, practically jogging past the final few houses before heading up to Jamie’s door where he’d left all his baskets. He knocked against the wood of the door with the large family crest on his index finger. “Jamie, you gotta let me in,” he called out, running fingers through his hair with the other hand, making sure it was still in place.

“ Oh, hey. Didn’t see you there, sorry. Just getting some water. [..] Do you want one? I.. somehow don’t think we’ve been introduced. I’m Vania. I don’t think I’ve seen you around school. ”
@xonismsx liked for a starter. sort of.
with a loud sigh, alec leaned against the bartop with his drink in hand. he had let the others know he was fine, and that he just needed to be alone. he wasn’t far from home, and anyone here at the hunters moon would just help him home, or at least call jace for him if need be. so.. here he sat.
