So I'm talking to someone about Cabaret right now. I mentioned that you're doing it (I might come see! We'll see) and they're wondering what version you guys are doing. Apparently this can be determined by what song Cliff gets to sing in the show, if any. Do you have any idea?

Yeahhhhhh we’re doing the ‘98 revival, which is Alan Cumming’s first run(as the Emcee…he played Cliff in wayyyy earlier run in London!). Yes, in the original, Cliff sings a song called “Don’t Go”, and then in a later revival, that was replaced by “Why Should I Wake Up”(which is a gorgeous song). In our version, the song is simply cut out, which our Cliff is very pleased about(he doesn’t like to sing). But Cliff still sings in “Perfectly Marvelous”, which, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated songs of the show. Literally I know everything about this show, so if you have any other questions, shoot me a message!! And you should definitely come, I’m playing Fraulein Schneider, and Emma is playing Texas!
