Hello friends! I’m very happy because my dear friend @camilamasiso won the @smoothfmportugal Jazz Contest from Lisboa (Portugal) playing, among 2 other songs, one song of mine called “Fora do Fuso" from the album of mine “The Shift” (2015), song which Camila herself also included in her album "Patuá" (2014). This song was made in partnership with the Brazilian poet @kadumauad, literature professor in the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, Brazil. The lyric of the song speaks about "cultural immigrants" - including myself - and the mixes of influences from Africa, South America, North America and Europe. I’m very happy that she won this contest and I’m glad this song was included in the repertoire.
