the last jedi spoilers pt.1
so uhhhh. remember that thing that went around a while ago about the skywalkers as demi-eldritch beings due to being descended from the force? add that to those two scenes of leia and luke each having their respective moment of sheer how-are-they-not-dead. holy crap.
the way leia just.... glides through space. i saw it and without any rational thought my brain went witch. and with the benefit of rational thought and hindsight: sky-walker.
and luke, of course, and his totally-saw-it-coming-but-hoooowwwwww-are-you-still-alive
and the sheer instinctive terror of their enemies at these bright-burning beings that just. won’t. can’t? die.
