talk about chris accepting allison's sexuality being Not Straight or maybe just her having feelings for lydia pls

we’ve spoken about this a million times and i don’t have a whole lot new to say so i’ll reiterate what i’ve already said.

no teenage boy is good enough for his baby girl. he would like every guy ever to stay the hell away from his precious beautiful daughter. he would rather shoot them than deal with the thought of them putting their hands on her. he will murder them. they will die. he has an suv, a shotgun and a shovel and the skills required to make sure no one ever finds the body. so on that surface level, allison being in love with a girl is fabulous news. yes good. ignore no-good awful teenage boys who are gonna want things they don’t deserve. love the girl we already view as family. lydia is great. she’s always welcome. love her. marry her. he will pay for every single thing at that wedding. get married right now. it’s amazing.

on a less selfish note.... honestly chris just doesn’t want to be gerard. at all. he doesn’t wanna turn into that. he’s always wanted allison to grow up knowing she can be whoever and whatever she wants to be in life, hence why he’s shielded her for so long and not let her in on the family business. he didn’t want to dictate her future. he wants her to have the freedom to go anywhere and do anything in the whole world. it’s kinda the same with who she is and things like her sexuality. he never gave it much thought but the day she tells him she has feelings for a girl... tbh she wouldn’t get much of a reaction. because it’s okay. it’s fine. it’s good. there’s no reason it would change anything about the way he views her and how much he loves her. he’d literally just smile and hug her and make sure she knows that it’s 10000% okay and he doesn’t care at all. she can love whoever she wants. preferably not a werewolf but y’know. she lives to make his life hell. :/ and she had to fall for the two nicest, most loveable werewolves. scott and isaac. two kids he couldn’t possibly justify hating for long. gdi allison.

               ❝  so ...  CAN I ASK YOU A QUESTION  ??  ❞   maybe this wasn’t the best way to approach the topic , but how else could she bring it up ??  part of daphne wants to focus on the movie ,  the unbelievably comfortable bed ,  or maybe on how safe she feels whenever he holds her close ;  but the inquietude building up in her heart make it nearly impossible for the redhead to stay quiet .  with short self-control  &&  a somewhat nervous tone ,  the sleuth gives the man’s hand a gentle squeeze .    ❝  you know , um ... you how you’re always telling me you can actually hear  MY HEARTBEAT  ??  && the fact that i thought you were just being a  cliché  at first , though that’s not the point .  ❞    soft laughter  follows her statement , eyes rolling at the thought .

3. Does your muse focus mainly on one long term goal or multiple short term ones? What do they think about the reachability of their goals and what are they?

     honestly i don’t think she has any goals, except for hunting and dying ( and getting laid ), which is kind of sad. i’d put ‘revenge’ and her to-do list because she hasn’t killed the thing that killed her family, but she’s not actively seeking revenge. it’s not a goal ; if it happens, it happens. but i think of cases as short term things so for her, i’d lean towards the fact she focuses on a bunch of cases at the same time because she can sweep through them quickly.  

5. Does your muse have any irrational fears that hold them back in life? Do they come from experience (trauma) or is it, for instance, part of a belief system they have?

     it depends on what you define as an ‘irrational’ fear. cassandra defines all her fears as irrational because she knows they’re not entirely normal. technically, all of her fears hold her back ( even though she doesn’t see them as doing such ). her fear of loving someone and losing happiness holds her back from having the chance of a wholesome life. an opportunity she will never get because it terrifies her too much. and even her fear of hospitals holds her back but i feel like this one she can push through a bit if she really thinks she has to ( #all of those cases that require talking to a patient and her, like, pacing outside the hospital, trying to build herself up to quickly go in there and get out ). but both those fears do hold her back and they’re both from past experiences that just made her horrified. 

18. What skills does your muse have and how did they come to have them? Was it hard work to learn them? What do they use their skills for? Are there any skills your muse wishes they had?

     since cassandra is a ... short individual, i think a lot of her skills have to work around that and use that to her advantage. because of that, i headcanon she took a lot of martial arts when she hit eighteen. and from there, she just never stopped trying to be stronger because she really strives not to be weak. and that’s why she’s very independent in the sense of not wanting help because she doesn’t want to need it. she definitely doesn’t want to be the very scared little girl that she was when her family died ( there’s a quote or something about that and i can’t find it right now but it was very cassandra-y in this way ). but nevertheless, i think at first it was hard, like everything new tends to be. but the better she got, and the amount of time she spent trying to build her strengths, the easier it became. i think her favorite skill though is flinging knives and she’s hella good at that. but i think we all know what she uses said skills for, she got monsters to kill.
