My nap buddy! Today is three weeks from my appendectomy and I figured I would be further along. Last Thursday nite, after my JP drain removal at the surgeon's officexi developed a fever over 101, and took a ride to the hospital. Likely infection at the drain site, got some iv antibiotics and some to take at home. Released at 7:30 am and couldn't get ahold of the surgeon's office so left a message with answering service. Saturday in the am I had 50-60 ml of nasty looking pus come out. So went back to the er and they gave me another round of iv antibiotics. Called the surgeon's office first thing Monday morning, and they couldn't get me in to be seen until the fifth of next month!
