x. literally the thing you didn't ask for \\ @bulsoitan
It all started out innocently enough; it was supposed to be a cute idea for a more low key date night but Zoey was only becoming more and more increasingly frustrated. They were both posted up at the counter of Jay's kitchen, a single iPad screen propped up between them as the YouTube video continued to explain what should have been simple steps in creating their own individual personal pan pizzas for each other. Bowls of toppings were spread out between them, ready for crafting and customizing the pizza with the other person in mind but Zoey couldn't seem to get past the step of keeping the dough from sticking together between all of her fingers no matter how much flour she tried to spread across the counter. Matters were only made worse when she made the mistake of looking over to gauge Jay's progress to find him staring diligently focused on the screen and skillfully kneading the dough into a perfect round ball. Zoey paused, staring at him as her jaw dropped open slightly not out of jealousy for his pizza-making abilities but over the fact that he'd meticulously rolled up his shirt sleeves past his elbows exposing the muscles of his forearms as he worked. Specifically, the arm of his tattooed sleeve flexing and contracting as he continued to roll the dough completely oblivious to his girlfriend's attention directed toward the working motions of his hands...
