Britt Ekland (1942-) birth name: Britt-Marie Eklund; Swedish model, singer and actress (Bond Girl)! Ms. Ekland appeared, as a mobster's wife, in Get Carter (1971) the gritty British underworld revenge thriller starring Sir Michael Caine, as the eponymous Carter! Next she portrayed a seductive native of an island village in The Wicker Man (1973). As if those two genre performances weren't enough to qualify Ms. Ekland for 70s cinema history -- her Mary Goodnight, a secretary to James Bond, in The Man With The Golden Gun (1974) will remain a favorite Bond Girl for many years to come, in the hearts of the Roger Moore era James Bond fans.

Ms. Aulin co-starred in Italian films, such as the thriller Death Laid An Egg (1968), alongside Gina Lollobrigida -- only to retire from acting in 1973, raising a family and earning a teaching certification! Returning for a supporting role in Stella's Favor (1996), to retire again.

Ewa Aulin (13 Feb. 1950-) Swedish actress who retired within six years of her lead casting as the titular character Candy Christian in the modern reimagined Voltaire tale of Candide -- a story of a naive and optimistic innocent in a greedy, cynical world. Ms. Aulin -- with her fresh natural beauty and sweet wide-eyed appearance was wisely cast to play the gender switched role in Terry Southern's screenplay (with Buck Henry); based upon the 1958 novel, Candy (itself based upon Voltaire's Candide) written, under a pseudonym, by Terry Southern with Mason Hoffenberg.
