These days, it’s not often that we get to see represses of limited merch. When we do, though, we jump on that shit like your neighbor’s trampoline! Foreign Sounds/Children of the Night decided that once wasn’t enough and released this second cassette pressing of Xasthur’s infamous self-titled EP! This pressing’s shell is an opaque green and features the same program on both sides. It’s limited to 100 copies and selling fast! This material is among some of my most favorite Xasthur black metal material, so I just had to have this cassette. You can, too, for a very limited time at the FS/CotN Storenvy shop!

Slasher Film Festival Strategy New LP

Been eagerly awaiting this one for months since it was announced and listed in the store! Basically this is the penultimate tribute to carpenter/halloween/snyth. I got turned on the band when Death Waltz (pre-mondo merging) offered a Ltd variant of their 2nd LP, Wet Leather back in early 2014. I had a hard time even finding much info about them then, but now the release label Foreign Sounds has become more active and is pumping out new titles. If you’re a fan of snyth, you’re familiar with Antoni Maiovvi and its great to see such a perfectly matched split with the two of them on one LP. 

Once again Death Waltz/Mondo promoted this release and had a variant for sale this morning that already sold out, but no worries because you can grab the same variant and an even more exclusive mixed media pressing thats limited to only 30 copies directly from Foreign Sounds now. Mondo had the red silver one, but I actually got the blue green variant, as I liked it the best. Beautifully hand screen printed albums are the best!
