At least once a day something like this happens:
My sister: "Mom, can you charge my phone?"
Mom (sitting next to her one the couch): "What?"
Sister: "Can you charge my phone?"
Mom: "Can I check your what?"
Sister: "Charge. my. phone."
Mom: "Can I check your bone? What's wrong with your bone?"
(silence)
Me: "She wants you to charge her cell phone"
Mom: "WHAT?!?! Bridgette you can do that yourself go get it and plug it into the wall I don't know why I have to do everything for you around here you're old enough to charge your own damn phone my god you see all that I do around here already I can't be bothered with this!"
