Seacock
This years biggest job on the list is replacing the seacock for the toilet outlet.
The seacock has been seized since I got Eau Pair and by the looks of it should have been replaced awhile ago. I got out my phone and took a picture of underneath the valve, it was at this point I realised how bad the problem actually was. A build up deposits coming off the valve plus a pink colour under it so looks like I was dealing with dezincification.
I was in two minds about going for Blakes or Forespar marelon seacock but after a chat with one of guys down at the yard and a bit of research I decided to go for the Forepsar, basically eliminates the problem ever occurring again. Jumped onto Force4 website and ordered a 1 1/2" Marelon seacock and some white Sikaflex-291. Will hopefully have it fitted by next week so will post the results then.
