I mean, it's cool. I like Luffy, and there's some cool art and things I've been looking at since I noticed it, but...why?

Birch 🌳 and Mud 🌱?

Birch: what’s something I’m proud of? Super fucking proud of myself for saving up enough to move into a place of my own in May. Also for how confident I’ve become with my body.

Mud: what’s something I do to relax before bed? Smoke weed usually hahaha. Or jerk off.

moss 💚 - how would you describe yourself?

*thinks for a long moment* I am hard working and do my best to protect others and to serve justice. I am dutiful and see missions to their end so that nobody else may be harmed by the foul play that'd caused the mess I had to clean up. I'm a skilled archer, and use my cleverly honed stealth to my advantage.

I don't often ponder traits of mine that don't relate to my career; such personable traits seem more natural to me than ones that fit a certain label. Though, I have been told I am quiet and reserved. Rayla says I can be stiff, and does things for me for the sake of encouraging me to break my routine.

Ethari tells me I am many wonderful things, including affectionate words I couldn't have imagined for myself. He also calls me compassionate, and says that he truly sees the good in me. I feel inclined to disagree with the litany of compliments he pays to my character, but I also trust him with my heart.

toadstool 🍄 - what is your favorite place to relax?

anywhere in the treehouse. the thick bark that encases our home does wonders for soundproofing, and the occasional soft rustling of leaves helps me feel centred and calm. these traits along with the familiar security of the tree makes it my favourite. second to this is laying beside Ethari.

rainwater 🌧 - what’s your favorite sound?

The sound of crashing waves or a hefty waterfall billowing. The intense destruction such heavy downpours of water can dole out is terrifyingly beautiful. Despite their fatal nature, they are beautiful to watch or listen to.

The sounds of the night come second. Sound bleeds differently at night, and the quiet sounds of nocturnal critters is too alluring to miss.

In soft matters, an array of ways Ethari inserts himself into the world through sound are on my list of favourites indeed. His warm brogue holds a competitive spot that is impossible to usurp. The music that falls from his lips upon forming my name makes me want to revoke everyone else's ability to ever say my name--he says it like it is his own, like he wrote it into existence and knows each note perfectly. I swear time stopped the first time I heard him say my name, as if I'd never heard it before.

Lastly, the sound of his heartbeat under my ear after returning from a mission, knowing I don't have to carry the burden alone.

Books. Stickers. Pins/buttons. Coffee mugs but that was an accident. DVDs kinda. Candles. Dice.

roots 🌱 - describe your favorite memory

Is it weird that I don't have one? Like I have plenty of good/happy memories but I can't think of one that tops the rest?

thicket 🌳 - how close do you live to a forest? have you ever explored it?

Um...I don't know where there's a forest near NYC. So probably not that close, or if I'm wrong I definitely haven't explored it.

stationery/art supplies has always been my thing, and books. I have too much sentimental clutter mostly.

dirt 🍂 - do you take care of any plants?

not at the present moment, and honestly maybe it would help my air quality and mood to have one or two. I love succulents and herbs like basil or rosemary. snake plants are also cute!

lichen 🌲- what do you like to collect?

i collect postcards and maps from the places i travel to. the walls in my room are covered with them. also train tickets and concert tickets.

i used to collect fortunes from fortune cookies, but i haven't really been doing that lately. i also used to collect cinema tickets but since everything has gone digital i don't do that anymore.

dirt 🍂 - do you take care of any plants?

i have two baby potted plants in my room. one is a tiny cactus in a tiny pot.

the other is.... another cactus i think? different type, not your typical cactus. looks a little like a succulent, but is not. it's in an elephant pot.

anyways, the latter one is on its last legs because i cannot be responsible for anything apparently. 😂
