It is mustikka time of the year. I've got a good blueberry spot nearby and this year that certain area is like...throw a stick somewhere and there's berries. I thought that I had found a great spot in the area but then there was a spot with mega sized blueberries, like highbush blueberry sized. I've been in the forest a normal amount recently (aka a way too many hours. Because berries.)
Good foraging spots are always a secret of sort. At first I see if there's enough for me personally, and if there's enough, I can invite friends to who I trust enough that they won't put the place in the map and share it to every damn relative. This is pretty close to civilization but still hard to find unless you're a freak and go through all nearby forests off-track just to see what is in there. And luckily this is so much off-road and requires pretty heavy climbing that anyone with bad legs can't even get in there.
