most whales and all dolphins already have teeth. The ones with those needly things are a very specific type of whale called Baleen whales. They're carnivores.
I probably should have mentioned it in the post but I actually meant canine-like teeth like the ones I drew. While Baleen Whale Needle teeth are Not Great ™ its not the same “what the fuck” effect as a whale with giant ass dog teeth made for a more aggressive land-based carnivorous diet. I apologize if this doesn’t make sense since I literally came up with the forest whale concept at 9pm in 30 minutes.
