I had one of those more than 30 years ago, but there is only little nostalgia involved, when I see one of those contraptions: Slow (on a fuel-to-noise-converter level), the brakes were dangerously weak in the hills of the Eifel, the suspension was a joke (mostly it was frame flex keeping the wheels on the road) and the maintainace level was close to that of jet fighters (there was always something that needed to be fixed.) Quite fugly, too. Cheap to run, though, and better than not going on two wheels. I even had fun occassionally.
