Day Eighteen: Forever Nuts (Kristen gets festive as fuck)
Hello, my name is Kristen and my (second) favourite* tea* is actually just granola with artificial baked good flavouring. This is what I serve non tea drinkers as my way of proclaiming "hey, tea isn't all tannins and astringency!" It's magic and pink (go team beetroot!) and smells like cake and I won’t judge you if you nibble on the nutty trail mix before you start steeping.
Look at that gorgeous, electric pink cup, hanging out in a Christmas tree.
We’ve reviewed this twice before (2013, 2014) and a cursory search of the blog tells me that I mention this tea the most in other reviews (second only to GENMAICHA as the polar opposite of my tea-love scale). That’s really my scale of tea ratings. “Is this as good as Forever Nuts or as terrible as Genmaicha?”
So yeah. Read the other reviews. It’s basically a magnetic fridge poetry kit of words like “pink. magic. cake. delightful. almond. nutty. sweet. OMG”. I was pleased as punch to get this on Friday and spent more time than I’m willing to admit to get a good shot of it thrust into my Christmas tree. Because that is the standard forever nuts requires. It is the best, and it demands the best in return. 10/10.
*Confession: I think that Sleigh Ride has officially passed Forever Nuts as my favourite-favourite tea. The addition of hibiscus, the tartness paired with the sweetness and the forced scarcity has made it slightly more precious to me. It’s not to say that I don’t absolutely love Forever Nuts. It’s more like when you look back at photos of yourself from 1997 when you sported white eyeliner and silver taffeta pants. Only in hindsight do you realize that you were being just a bit silly.
** Who are we kidding. It’s liquid cake. Tea purists may scoff, but again I ask you. HAVE YOU TASTED IT?!
Day 18: Forever Nuts
for almond lovers
It looks all normal when it’s loose. But steep it and you’ll see that it’s nuts. Within seconds, this tempting jumble of almond slices and chunks, apple bits and cinnamon bark starts turning a crazy shade of pink. Why? Because it contains a hint of beetroot. That’s what gives this rich almond tea its earthy depth and its all-natural signature colour. Deliciously nutty, decidedly addictive. Caffeine-free.
Ingredients: Apple, almonds, cinnamon, beetroot, artificial flavouring.
Yesssssssssss
david's tea's forever nuts as a late. it was too cute not to share.
Forever Nuts is an spice-based herbal tea made with almond slices, apple bits, cinnamon bark and a hint of beetroot. Deliciously nutty, decidedly addictive. Caffeine-free.
Steep Time: 4 minutes
Dry Leaf Nose: Spicy and sweet
Liquor: Pink with a light sweetness
Flavour: Sweet and sour. Slightly tart with a hint of fruitiness.
A DAVIDsTEA classic. Delicious, light, and caffeine free. It's got a nice hint of almond flavour. And because it's caffeine free it means it's perfect bed.

Day 4
Forever Nuts. Smells like paradise. And takes like heaven*without metatron in it, because, if he is there, then it's not paradise at all*
