July Baby is that you??? Is it just me or is this year flying by ? These days you can find me traveling with either my backpack for school or a duffle bag with business tools setting up just about anywhere to keep the knowledge flowing….. I would be naive if didn’t share with you … The moment you decide you want more for yourself it is going to cost you the old version of yourself . .. yes I get it we out here #BookedandBusy ( Sis I GOT GOALS) BUT did you know that you can be Booked and Distracted.. GIRLLLL

You are not alone . I have been in the seat next or across from you more than once . It was not until I made the decision to want more from myself and make the commitment to me for me . Have you noticed we will bend our backs for the ones we love but when it comes to ourselves we can easily brush it off until the next day . If you are In a space where you are ready to want more these gems will allow you to do that and more .

You Have To believe you deserve it

Yes you … everything you think about yourself starts with your perception. I recently wrote about The Power of Belief . What are some behaviors that you have adopted?or better yet . Are you speaking positive over yourself and anything that your name is attached too ? Let me give you an example of what that looks like

” I run a Global business that empowers women of color to Be Fearless, Brave and Phenomenal.”

Speak life over what you create even if it has not fully flourished yet .

2. Dedicate and focus on the craft

This is when we spend time learning more about our purpose and mission. That means read the books , listen to the podcast , go to the conferences . Now it won’t happen over night but what I know for sure is …if you are committed you will not lose .

3 . Surround yourself around positive people

The company you keep is critical to yourself and your growth . We are not designed to do everything on our own , that is why it is extremely important that the people we have around us are Positive, Honest ,Supportive and lastly have something going on for themselves. If you are the smartest person in your group and you are not growing you are doing yourself a huge disservice.

Don’t not become small for people , who refuse to grow !!!

4. Track your progress

Without a plan or strategy you will travel in circles. Keep a journal and write down what your working on , write your goals, and track your progress .When we write it down we are making an agreement with the universe that this is what we want and what we are working towards . We have 184 days left of 2019 .. we ain’t got time for anything that does not serve us .

How to determine your Value?

When I was younger I made it my business to make sure everyone liked me.  I always displayed my characteristics of being loyal and dependable. Even when I did not get the same results that I was investing. I use to think they will have to see who I am one day . Because I was very naive in my friendships I would keep people around who did not deserve a front seat to this show .

  Value is something that we all have inside of us . It something that you cannot put a price On.Value is something that you must protect at all cost . What I have noticed is we have a tendency of under valuing ourself in hopes that we don’t intimidate others . 

Here are a few ways to determine your value . 

Take what you do serious  

No one is ging  to value you until you VALUE YOU . We set the tone and expectations to how other people treat and preceive us . If you only pour into yourself part time you are going to get part time results . Everything you do let it mean something every-time . When I made the promise to myself that I would really give this a shoot my whole world Change . What if you actually devoted a whole year to doing more of what you love .

   Understand  your Currency 

 Currency:something that is used as a medium of exchange; 

Know when and how to maximize your exchanges. Think about the things that you are an expert at and how you can leverage . Nobody can determine your value but you. Your currency brings impact and change to people’s lives.

  Keep perfecting your craft  

Your value is as good as the investment. As an expert you always be a student first. Never stop learning. The more you stay on top of your craft the more value you can bring to the people around you . 

Your value is never determined by the people , it is always determined by YOU.
