Honestly, I'm surprised they were the only ones to pop up. I burned all of my old CDs into my iTunes library. I have all the classics: Backstreet Boys (AJ my original oppa), Nsync, 98°, BB Mak, O-Town, Five, LFO, Immature, NKOTBI feel so old

These young kids don’t even know the struggle we used to have trying to support our boy bands. Coming home from school and watching TRL and Pop Up Video or trying to find a blank VHS to record MVs and interviews. *sigh*

like the naeun gif i made, i had to make it super tiny even after sharpening it to make it fit on tumblr and ;;;;;;

ye ye i noticed that!! think, how many frames was it? just a rough estimation? ummm for 500px-wide gifs i tend to limit it to 10-12 frames if i can so that when i optimise it to a tumblr-safe filesize i don't lose a whole lot of colour (if any). 250px-wide gifs are 20-22 with the same considerations in mind.

UMMMM well, i personally like to watch the video a couple of times and get a sense for the colour scheme so that i know what i'm working with. like when i made those cnb gifs recently, i noticed it was kind of blue, so i adjusted the colours with a colour balance layer to bring that out. it just depends on your video i think. also, if you can, always, always remember to sharpen. annnnd remember that the dimensions of your gif play a big part in how many frames you can make it.
