By the time the language lesson had ended the night before, the sun had begun its rise into the sky. Scalos had been unable to return to his hive, and more than happily accepted an invitation to stay the day with Celest. He had opted to sleep on the couch, not finding it proper to sleep together quite yet despite all the jokes the two make to the contrary. And so that is where he awoke, groggily rubbing at his eyes and releasing a monstrous yawn.
