He would’ve thought that the crowds moving chaotically through the streets would at least look out for children. Ludger didn’t expect any of them to be particularly charitable, leading lost minors to help centers or anything. But at the very least, check when a lone child was wandering about cluelessly in a street full of who knows what.

“Hey, are you alright?” he asked, dropping the shopping beside him and crouching to examine the child lost among the adults. Offering the kindest smile he could manage, and ignoring his mind commenting on how much Elle would berate him for coming off as some kidnapper, the former agent looked up around them both curiously. “Were you here with someone? I can help you find them if you want.”

     Though the talent of music had escaped her entirely, there was little arguing that tired instruments made for the best treasures. Digits hovering over the keys of a forgotten piano, Velour would relish in the squeaky notes that would make the average person’s fingers clench.

     Now for the hard part. How could she ever hope to get this thing home in one piece?

♬  } Chaos was all that registered as he broke into a run in a frenzied searched for the girl. The sounds he heard pressed against him and even felt like the drag of a nail against his skin, though there was nothing like a nail anywhere near him. Deemo turned a corner, and the top hat he wore nearly flew off his head. Ah, where could she be?! He needed to keep better track of her...In a crisis like this, he wanted nothing more than the girl he come to care for to be safe. 

♬  } He wished he could speak, only to call for her name. As he ran down the road, a flash of a familiar dress passes his eyes. Deemo stops, and turns to see the unmistakable face before quickly approaching her. He doesn’t really wait for the girl to notice him before pulling her to a hug. It was a relived gesture saying, ‘Thank God, you’re okay.’

What do you wish the author would reveal/had revealed about your muse?

EVERYTHING

ok for real, all we really know about Deemo is that he’s a pianofucker, he’s really kind and gentle towards the little girl, and that he’s (spoilers redacted). That’s about it. We don’t really know about his other interests, or other aspects of his personality. 90% of it has to be based off of interpretation and picking random characteristics from a hat, throwing it at a wall, and seeing what sticks. 

If i heard things right, Deemo’s getting a novel and it plans to expand on the story. What I’m hoping is that he get to see more of what he’s like!!

Mello slipped off his shoes and dipped his toes in the water. He refused to go swimming, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t enjoy the feeling of water on his feet. It was so, so hot - the only reason he’d come to the beach was to cool off.

“...”

The blonde tilted his head to the side as he saw a little girl all by herself. He debated between reveling in his own solitude and talking to her, he chose the later. Normally, he’d decide to leave her be, but something about her reminded him of someone he once knew.

“.. hey, kid, aren’t you a little young to be by yourself?”
