When Even Some Is Too Much
Trevor Coult is a British special forces veteran (familiar to many on social media platforms). His YouTube bio describes his background:
"...a former All Ireland Judo Champion and National Fell running champion, he was awarded the Military Cross for his actions in a complicated suicide attack in Baghdad in 2005. Having completed 10 Operational deployments he was medically discharged from the Army after 21 years service due to injuries sustained while serving."
Not a fan of Harry or Meghan, he's been posting brief reviews of Tom Bower's new book about them, "Revenge". Today he commented after reading through chapter 26,
"I don't really want to go on [with the book].... I feel sick in the stomach."
At video's end he described Meghan, Duchess of Sussex coming across as
"a sociopath woman who stalked the mother of the man she wanted to marry, then exploited the royal family for personal gain and continues to do that today."
Succinct. Discerning. Even a seasoned soldier who's faced the horrors of war finds the subjects more than a bit toxic.
I'm going to read the book in stages when I receive it from overseas. Isn't it ironic that two people so publicly concerned with mental health are best taken in controlled doses to preserve one's own mental health?
Chyle!! This could have saved me so much trouble. #forewarnedisforearmed #redflagswerethere https://www.instagram.com/p/CPrSGm2DGIjMHmO4h5iMdBovx_xpRF1570KESk0/?utm_medium=tumblr
From The College Fix: "Rutgers University’s Brittney Cooper is back, this time offering her thoughts on the desire of many Americans to reopen the country as the coronavirus curve flattens out. In a Tuesday Twitter rant, the women’s and gender studies professor wrote “I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd to [sic] push to re-open the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID.” Isn’t it really cool how she used a neat critical theory term like “necropolitical”? (It means “the use of social and political power to control people’s lives” — see Cameroonian philosopher Achille Mbembe). Public warned over increase in ‘cyber-chicanery’.
Following recent furores over sneaky, underhand disinformation campaigns, Facebook users were today warned to be on their guard against an expected slew of misleading, disingenuous, or downright false statements in the coming weeks, following analysis by the National Establishment for Researching Knowledge.
“It’s to be expected, given the time and the circumstances, but we feel we should remind the public that it is always a good idea to treat any outrageous or surprising claims made around now with a high degree of suspicion,” the director of NERK said.
“With so much at stake it’s not surprising that big money or dark international forces might seek to exert their malign influence. Therefore we recommend that one should always step back, and consider calmly whether something you read is wholly true, partly true or an out and out lie. Do your own research; ask people who you trust; and most of all listen to that ‘still small voice inside you’ before sharing those kind of things to your wall.”
When asked to explain, the head NERK continued, “That gut instinct is a surprisingly good indicator: you know there probably is something fishy going on if your first reaction on seeing these posts is, “Really?! THAT is the best of 2019?!?!”
#iaopqBr #telltale #signs Naomi was getting married. She’d told everyone how great Harry was. “He cooks” (everyone gasped), “he opens doors for me, he’s touchy-feely - very loving”. She felt it was a match made in Heaven. Naomi was earning more than Harry and she was happy to give him some money to make down payments for the venue and catering. But, the money didn’t make it to the vendors so the wedding was postponed. They eventually got married but are seeing a counselor for obvious reasons. #tobe #forewarnedisforearmed if one must ignore the #telltalesigns In which case, 1. #ignore and #dealwithit 2. #learn to #livewithit 3. It must be #true #love which covers a “multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8) I don’t think Naomi should complain.
