Forge listens to the full question, taking a long moment before giving a thoughtful, wisdom-laden response.

Just kidding. He bursts out laughing halfway through the question, his guffaw so great that he has to take a gasp of a breath halfway through. When Forge’s laughter finally comes to an end, he wipes a small tear from his eye before actually answering.

“Ye must not know much abou’ me, but I’ll spare ye th’life story an’ instead give th’short version. Uh...pirate?”

Forge’s opinion on death.

Forge gives the question some thought, eventually starting his reply with a soft sigh. One hand remained at his brow as he spoke, the roegadyn simply holding it there past his pondering.

“Death be one o’ those things that ye can’t escape -- though plenty o’ folk try t’do so. Any sailor knows that ye run th’risk o’ not comin’ back whene’er yer out t’sea. But ye don’t jus’ lie down an’ let it happen, aye? Ye fight death as hard as ye can. When some lad’s chargin’ ye, ye sidestep an’ remove his head. When yer gonna set sail, ye bring a black cat on board fer good luck. All me talk o’ luck’s jus’ that, really -- th’sailor’s way o’ fightin’ death.” The roegadyn pauses, lowering his hand with a light chuckle.

“Er, sorry. Don’t mean t’get all poetic or nothin’ on ye, if’n y’could even call that poetry. I wouldn’t -- don’t got th’mind or th’mouth t’speak all pretty. Much better at swingin’ weapons.” Forge states, a small grin quickly plastering itself on his face.

What does your muse’s voice sound like? Is it light? High pitched? Scratchy? Deep?

OOC: I have no current voice claim for Forge Fighter here and, maybe somewhat shockingly, I don’t really have any plans to search one out for him, either. Forge currently uses Voice 4, and as you can hear, his voice is on the lower side when he isn’t doing anything strenuous, like fighting.

A good way to think of Forge’s voice is that it’s firmly grounded, similar to how a sailor would need to be on a stormy deck. His voice is a little low, and solid. It (and his accent) sort of plod on through what he’s saying, rather than flow like a river or anything else truly poetic. On a final note, as you can hear in Voice 4′s laugh, laughter comes easily and with gusto!

A Hearty Hello!

Hello and welcome to Forge Fighter’s character blog! He’s a rather brand new character who’s still taking shape, but it’s never too early to introduce the guy! I may use some question memes to help me build the character, I might not. In the mighty words of Yoshi P, please look forward to it.

That said! I am also happily seeking to immerse myself in Sea Wolf lore -- more than I already have, anyway. If there are pointers to be had, links to follow and pages to read, please feel free to toss them my way!
