“O’course, ye asked about me an’ not sailors in general, didn’t ye? I don’t think ‘mnearly as pious as I used t’be. C’n thank th’Calmity fer that one…Aye, though. I keep me habits o’ tryin’ t’influence luck, an’ if’n that means I call fer th’Navigator’s help, then that’s what it means. 4. One headcanon for my muse about...how sensitive they are to insults.

OOC: Forge doesn’t really allow most insults to get under his skin, but an insult’s ability to do so depends heavily on the situation and circumstance.

Forge is most used to insults hurled in the middle of combat -- these are, of course, usually meant to distract, and as such he’s fairly good at paying them no mind. Insults made about his appearance tend to fall under this category for the roegadyn, and so he’s quick to hurl one back.

Thankfully, it hasn’t happened just yet, but calm, cold insults are more likely to bother Forge. You know the kind of insult that’s reserved for ending conversations, and is punctuated by the insulter turning around and walking away? Those sorts of insults/criticisms are bound to cause some trouble for Forge. At least until he goes and drowns them out of his head with ale, that is. Once he’s sufficiently blacked the words out, there’s a moderate chance he’ll suck up and move on with his life. You know, try and forget he ever heard the words.
