Upon reading the comments on the latest chapter, an idea (and thus, a prompt) formed in my head. Actually I think I had that idea before, but now it's getting more concrete shapes. Ahsoka excitedly blabbers to Anakin about the lightsaber, including the willingness to lend it to Leia. Anakin decides to give Obi-Wan the shovel talk, but he also ships it hard. Ahsoka ships it even harder.
See, the thing about shovel talks, at least for me, is that they are only really fun if what you have is a) actual threat of physical or emotional harm to the potential victim, b) it is done by someone who is "close enough" to the potential victim, and c) that it is done in the correct way (not all shovel talks mention shovels).
So like, with Obi-Wan and Leia, Anakin is never going to give Obi-Wan a shovel talk. He might, however, give Leia one, in defense of poor, delicate Obi-Wan who is actually very soft and needs to be handled carefully. Don't just play with him, you callous, hyperactive, political maniac.
There is only one (living) person in all of DLB who would be allowed to give anything remotely resembling a shovel talk on Leia's behalf. And it's Shmi.
