HONESTLY I'm so glad you pointed out how they didn't do anything for Andy's birthday...I get that Patrick and Pete are the main focus and crap but still??? They didn't have to do a silly bday cake edit, maybe just a little birthday shoutout, but when they didn't even do that (as far as I know they didn't) it's kinda :/
i know.......its shitty :/ & i will not stand for this injustice against andy my literal husband
forgetfulbucky prompted: Can you write a fic where Blaine is walking around NYADA and bumps into Adam. Adam has no idea it's Blaine and starts flirting with him. And since Blaine is so oblivious he says yes to go get coffee, then Blaine brings up the fact that he's engaged and then Kurt comes in like when Blaine had coffee with Sebastian and they talk about how much sex they have.
I did some tweaking but I hope you like it anyways and it satisfies you because I know how much you wanted this
With Kurt skipping their between-classes coffee date to hang out with Maggie, Blaine found himself wandering around NYADA mindlessly. It was a big school and while Blaine had seen most of it in his couple of months there, he hadn’t fully absorbed what the musical hallways had to offer. As he turned towards the dance hall, Blaine spotted a post in the center of the hallway. The classrooms and students seemed to center around it nonchalantly, as if they didn’t even notice it there. But with more time on his hands than he would like to have, Blaine decided to give it the attention it was screaming for and quickly walked towards it, careful not to be trampled by his taller classmates. Millions of flyers were taped and stapled and pinned to the most in the most messy of manners. It was impossible to even tell what color the walls of the post were. Thousands of clubs that Blaine didn’t even realize NYADA offered were advertised, and while June was taking up most of the free time Blaine got, he decided that just looking at the posters wouldn’t do any harm. A pink poster with chocolate brown Broadway font lettering in various sizes advertised the ballet club, another advertised the playwrights club, and one even advertised the costume club (which didn’t make costumes but criticized the ones chosen by Broadway costume workers, as the flyer clearly pointing out in bold print, font size seventy-two.) None of them really appealed to Blaine, if he was being quite honest.
After pondering each side of the post, Blaine spotted a large poster in the very center of the side that he was now looking over. It practically screamed at Blaine to acknowledge it, almost like the post had when Blaine first wandered into this hallway. With a bright red, cleverly designed apple covering the majority of it, Blaine came to realize that there was one club at NYADA that he had heard of before, and he wasn’t particularly fond of the leader, although he didn’t really know much about them. “Adams Apples”, the poster red in a light orange bubble lettering. Just looking at it brought back memories that Blaine had tried so hard to push out of his mind for so long. He thought of what he had done to Kurt, how big of a mistake it was, and how desperately he wished he could take it back. He thought of the day he heard Kurt about the the boy he was dating in New York during the steamy make-out session in the back of Blaine’s car at Mr. Schue and Ms. Pillsbury’s first and failed wedding. He thought of the week he proposed to Kurt, when Kurt promised that nothing had really happened between him and Adam. Then he thought of how lucky he was that Kurt said yes, and how much he loved him, and how he would never do anything so terrible to Kurt again. Blaine was just about to move his eyes away from the thought triggering poster when he heard a thick british accent coming from directly behind him. “We’ve been looking for new members all year. Would you be interested?”
Blaine turned around, realizing the owner of the voice was probably referring to him. The man in front of Blaine was obviously older. He looked sophisticated and fit. His slightly curly blonde hair was attractive, and he was a bit short for his age, but not dramatically. Blaine decided he must be a member of the show choir who probably had nothing better to do than think about the apples all day everyday, which is why they were near the poster, and trying to recruit Blaine. Blaine smiled at the man in front of him and gave a small shake of the head. “No, thank you. My schedules a bit busy, but I’m sure the group is incredible.” He said, knowing it was the exact opposite.
“Oh, they are.” The other man said, chuckling at himself. “Maybe I can tell you about them over coffee sometime?” He offered.
Blaine thought he saw the other guy look at his both from head to toe, but it was probably a trick of the mind due to the fact that Blaine hadn’t been intimate with Kurt in 3 days. And besides, the british show-choir member was most likely straight. “Sure, yeah. That’d be great.” He nodded, thinking that having someone to talk to other than Kurt and June might be nice for a change. He put his phone number in the boys phone.
“I’ll call you.” The show choir member promised as he walked away, completely oblivious to the fact that he had heard the name Blaine entered in his phone before.
Over a phone call that night, the boys decided that early the following Thursday at the coffee shop near the NYADA bookstore was the best time for each of them.
Blaine got there a little late, texting Kurt to tell him what he was doing and why he couldn’t bring cronuts to the loft for their weekly pre-school breakfast. The other boy, which Blaine had realized he forgot to catch the name of, was anxiously waiting, sitting at a table with his coffee and a medium drip, which Blaine had told them was what he preferred when they talk a few nights beforehand. It took a few seconds but Blaine finally found his new ally sitting in the corner of their previously decided coffee shop. He glided through the crowd of people buying and sipping their coffee and sat across from the boy, politely greeting him and then replying to a text message he received from Kurt after entering the shop.
Blaine smiled at the boy after looking up from his phone. “Sorry I’m late.”
“You’re not, handsome. I’m early.” The boy smiled and sipped his coffee.
Blaine chuckled, awkwardly. Was the boy he just met flirting with him?
“So whats shakin’, bacon?” the british boy asked. He seemed to giggle at his own jokes quite often as he did it again.
Blaine smiled. “I’m sorry, I believe I forgot to catch your name.” he said, sipping his medium drip after paying the other boy back for it.
“Uh, Adam Crawford.” the boy who now had a name admitted.
Blaine’s eyes sprung out of his head and he choked on his coffee. “I’m sorry, can you repeat that?”
“Is there a problem?” Adam asked, shocked, concerned, and confused at Blaine’s response to a few simple words.
“I think you dated my fiance when we were broken up.” Blaine admitted, .
Adam’s eyes mimicked Blaine’s as he realized why Blaine wasn’t flirting back.
Just then, which was possibly perfect timing, Kurt walked into the coffee shop and recognized the back of his helmet-head fiance. He walked towards Blaine and began to sit down next to him. “I was just getting some coffee since you said you weren’t coming over. How funny that we’re both here.” He smiled and then looked up, across from him and immediately recognized the person sitting across from Blaine. “A-adam...Blaine, do you know who this is?”
Blaine nodded slowly. He was still recovering from the shock.
“We just figured that much out.” Adam explained. “Hello, Kurt.” He smiled at what he considered his ex-boyfriend.
“Hi, Adam.” Kurt decided to let it go. This didn’t have to be awkward, but Blaine was obviously petrified. Kurt rubbed his fiance’s back. “Is this what happens when we’re not intimate for a few days?” Kurt joked.
Blaine chuckled, sipping his coffee. “It’s not like that. Although, that is something we’ll have to fix very soon.” The boys seemed to forget that Adam was sitting across from him.
Kurt grabbed Blaine’s hands and they intertwined fingers. “Like tonight. Our bodies aren’t used to going this long unsatisfied.”
Adam got increasingly uncomfortable and slid out of the table as the boys decided that they didn’t want to wait until after school to satisfy their bodies.
